A little about me...
I grew up in Ashwaubenon with my parents, three brothers and one sister. Now that we are all grown we all still live in the area. I live in Suamico with my husband, and our children; Emilie-18, Jake-15, and Ava- 4, along with our two cats- Twinkle and Bella.
I started my teaching career in the fall of 1996 in Algoma where I was a teacher in the special education department for 6, 7 and 8th graders. Two years later I had the opportunity to teach closer to home in our Howard-Suamico School District. I started at Bay View, then Lineville and finally moved to Meadowbrook, where I started out teaching 2nd grade, moved to 4th grade and am now very happy to be back to 2nd grade!
I believe that students can only learn when they feel safe and secure. Respect from and for all is essential. I work to create a atmosphere of community and caring in our classroom so that everyone feels comfortable to take chances, ask questions, work together and to be creative.
